Isle of Man farmers have been growing milling wheat for Laxey Glen Mills for many years. The wheat they supply is of high quality from farm assured farms giving full traceability back to individual farmers. This of course provides an excellent provenance for our flours.
From the wheat, we produce no less than 15 varieties of flour all of which are free from UK legislated additives. There is a flour to cover all of your needs from making light and luscious cakes to fabulous homemade bread.
Ramsey Bakery also uses our flour in their products so you can enjoy it even if you don't bake at home. Flour is sold in 1.5kg bags or in 16kg and 32kg sacks for the more enthusiastic home baker wanting to do larger scale baking.
Flour can be bought from retail outlets across the Island, directly from the Mill in Laxey or there is a delivery service for larger orders.
