Southern District Agricultural Show 2024

The Southern District Agricultural Show has been held at Great Meadow in Castletown for nearly 50 years, and the Moore-Riggall Family have been involved with the Show since it’s early beginnings in 1914.

The new Showground at Orrisdale Farm, Ballasalla, has been made possible with the generosity of landowners Mr & Mrs P Kermode and Family, and we hope you will all enjoy the new location and bear with us as we make the transition.

The agricultural and rural focus of the Show remains the core theme and this continues to be the driving force behind its organisation. We have the best of the Island's livestock, equine, canine, poultry and small animal exhibits on display at the Show, as well as Farm and Garden produce, confectionery and crafts. The Trade and Catering platform is well established and many independent businesses can find an affordable way to trade and promote their business and local products at the Show.
