Angelica Belle

For any newcomers, who are you and what do you do?

Angelica Belle is a lifestyle brand. Created by award-winning professional chef, Andrea. Andrea creates luxury edible gifts which are home-baked to order, beautifully presented and ready to gift with eco-friendly packaging, as well as our Farmshop & Deli range. Andrea also offers cookery demonstrations and classes from her demonstration kitchen, and produces her own range of all-natural essential oil candles & diffusers. 

Our products are all eco-inspired and made in Andrea’s fisherman’s cottage in Port St Mary. We are previous winners of the DEFA ‘Made In’ Award, and have received celebrity endorsement, with products described as ‘off-the-scale delicious’’ by TV personality, Anthea Turner. We were recently selected as one of three most ‘Inspirational Best Displays’ at this year’s Farmshop & Deli Show at the NEC in Birmingham where Andrea represented the IOM. We’re also proud Biosphere Partners.

When did you establish your business?

I created Angelica Belle Lifestyle Brand with my husband during lockdown. 

What inspired you to begin?

We were precluded from returning to our prior position as a professional chef & captain on private yachts due to the pandemic, and so created what we had always dreamed of - a lifestyle brand here at home in the Isle of Man.

How has your business grown since then?

Our retail business has grown significantly and our products are now in Robinsons, Tynwald Mills Deli, Good Health Shop Port Erin and on the Steam Packet’s Manannan - to name a few. 

Where are you based and what does that community mean to you?

We are based at our fisherman’s cottage in Port St. Mary. Being island-inspired is very important to us - we want to showcase the best of the island’s incredible food producers for their quality & talent, both here and off-island.

What does the Isle of Man Food & Drink Festival mean to you?

It’s so important to showcase the very best local producers to the Island’s residents, as well as what we can offer by way of exporting.   

Which other local producer(s) are you most looking forward to seeing this year?

All - they are all so important to the Island and its success here and off island as producers.

What’s on the horizon for your business?

Growth both on island and off. Developing new and exciting offers. 

What is your signature dish/product?

Our Luxury Almond Lemon & Orange Amaretti Cookies.
