Proudly sourced, prepared and served here The aim of this part of the Taste Isle of Man accreditation scheme is to encourage the use and promotion of local Manx produce through rewarding those eating out establishments and B&Bs who can provide evidence of that use and its promotion. For the purposes of this accreditation scheme, the definition of “local Manx produce” is: produce which is grown, reared, caught, pickled, baked or processed on the Island or from its territorial waters. In the case of processed food, if the raw ingredients are available and appropriate, they must be used in order for the processed end product to be regarded as local produce.
